Speaker: Joshua Hickman, Program Manager, City of Long Beach Public Works Department

About Joshua Hickman:

Joshua manages two programs (Tidelands CIP and Private Development) for the City of Long Beach Public Works Department in the Project Management Bureau. As part of the Private Development Program, his team manages the lifecycle of right of way improvements from the entitlement phase through plan check and permitting. In order to provide clear guidance as well as streamline the process, he has led a team to formulate and standardize the Cities requirements. This makes for a more predictable and replicable process thereby enhancing the applicant experience.
